Balanced brain approaches deliver innovation, AND better reach the diversity of right-, left- and combined brains receiving the message or buying the products. While it is by no means as easy to chart/address as looking at gender diversity in an organization, that might be an interesting place to start. If women "tend" to think in more right-brain guided ways, and men "tend" to think in more left-brain guided ways... what does that mean for the decision-making and creative teams at your company? I'm a huge fan of Dan Pink's book - A Whole New Mind - on this topic, and my understanding of both the women's market and the sustainable consumer market are all the richer for taking into account the bi-partisan/bi-brained perspective.
